Announcing the 4th annual Photography Class
Want better photos of your kids or your travels or whatever? Got a nice camera but not happy with the photos you're taking? Want to get to the next level with your photos? Then the 4th annual photography course by Mark Gardner – From Snapshots to Great Shots: How to Make Better Photographs – is for you.
The course will cover the full process of digital photography at Skagit Valley College - April 22-23, 2017 from 9am to 4pm. Each session includes lecture and lots of hands-on exercises using your own camera. Day 1 covers photography basics, setting up and controlling your camera, and an introduction to light. Day 2 will cover more on using light effectively, composition for impact, examples of putting it all together to make a great photo, and an introduction to post processing.
This class is designed for beginnering and intermediate photographers who want to get more out of their cameras and make better photographs. All you need is a camera and your camera's manual (which you can get on line and put on your smartphone or tablet). If your camera is in your phone, then please wait for my smartphone photography class later this spring.
You can take either day or both. The fee for the course is $90 per day or $160 for two days. Bring a friend and get $10 off. And only $50 per day for those 18 and younger. For more information, call 360-472-0191 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please pass along to anyone you think might be interested. Thanks
